Clean & Bright
As I’ve pointed out before, I don’t have too many vodka-forward cocktails on my page, but they can be really nice when some warmer weather rolls around. I really like the crisp, refreshing, crushable feel of a citrus-forward, fruity vodka sour. Here’s one that I definitely recommend, even if you don’t take the completely-unnecessary-but-awesome step of layering.
Raspberry and lemon are the main feature here, with the fresh citrus profile amped up from the lemon vodka and orange liqueur. The pineapple serves more of a supporting role here and rounds out the fruitiness. Add a little chartreuse for some seasoning, and we are there! Easy peasy lemon-raspberry-squeezey.
Recipe
0.75oz vodka (@fairvodka, gifted)
0.75oz lemon vodka (@deepeddyvodka)
0.5oz Cointreau (@cointreau_us)
0.25oz yellow chartreuse (@chartreuse1605)
0.75oz pineapple juice
0.5oz lemon juice
0.75oz raspberry vodka (@wildrootsspirits, gifted)
Combine everything except for the raspberry vodka and shake until chilled. Strain into a highball glass with #clearice cubes (@truecubes, gifted). Layer raspberry vodka on top. Garnish with lemon peel and fresh raspberries. Cheers!!
